Today, Sunday 22nd Feb 2009, I had an opportunity to go out on MacLir and take some photographs. Thanks to Fintan and his crew I saw racing from the "other side" and would like to thank them for their hospitality.
To all you racing sailors, give the MacLir crew a BIG wave as you cross the finish line - believe me it REALLY does matter!
The weather was not the best for good photographs, however I show a selection here with a couple of sequences showing some kites in difficulty. No names mentioned but you can see for yourselves
